I have set this up as a site where we can post the roster and also seasonal recipes.

Puy Lentil Dahl
  • Roast in a medium oven a punnet of cherry tomato, 2-3 whole shallots and large chunks of pumpkin till golden brown but still whole.
  • Boil a cup of puy lentils till soft but still whole, rinse and set aside.
  • heat a tablespoon of ghee or vegetable oil in a wok and fry 1 tsp cummin, 1/2 a tsp tumeric, 2 tsp black mustard seeds. Stir until the seeds start to pop.
  • Stir in chopped chilli, 30cm of grated ginger and stir quickly.
  • Add the lentils till coated and shiny, then stir through the roasted vegetables and add 200ml of coconut milk, simmer till the liquid reduces.
  • Serve with papadams or rice.
